This is not your official Tournament Roster! Teams will provide the official tournament roster at Credential Check or prior to your first game.
Activities during the Far North Invitational:
Food Drive for the Food Bank of Alaska. Bring a caned, boxed, or jared item to donate to the Food Bank of AK to play in the 1v1 Arena or Soccer Tennis. We encourage all athletes to help our local families in need by bringing a non perishable food item to the headquarter tent during Far North.
- Every Coach will nominate a “North Star” of the tournament that will be honored at the Closing Ceremony. Coaches turn in the name of your North Star to the HQ tent by Saturday at 8:00pm. Coaches will select 1 player from their team as their North Star. Coaches will choose this player at their discretion based on attitude, effort, or performance.
- The Spirit of the North Award is the Sportsmanship Award for the Far North Invitational. This award will be given to 1 team in the Boys division and to 1 team in the Girls division that stand out by showing respect to the game and one’s opponents.
Anchorage Fracture & Orthopedic Clinic will be providing an Athletic Trainer to assist Far North athletes throughout Far North. Look for the AFOC tent next to Headquarters.
Adkins Chiropractic will be providing complementary chair massages and Active Release to all participants throughout Far North. Look for the Adkins Chiropractic tent next to Headquarters. Care is provided on a first come first serve basis…
Thursday 10-12pm & 2:30-4pm Friday 8am-12pm & 3:30-6pm Saturday 9:30am-6pm Sunday 10am-2pm
- The Closing Ceremony will take place from on Sunday directly following the 01 Boys championship game, around 3:30pm. Come early to the ceremony and watch some soccer!
- During the Closing Ceremony; First place teams from every age group will receive their trophy, First and second place teams will pick up their medals, Under 8, Under 9 & Under 10 teams will pick up the participation medals, Tournament North Stars will be announced for every team, the Spirit of the North awards will be announced.
