Please welcome Jane Nelson as the Club’s new Team Manager Coordinator. Jane will be helping the club coordinate efforts with team mangers and assist them on ways to support the head coach and the team. Every season there are new managers who need guidance understanding their role so instead of re-creating the wheel time and time again, Jane will be providing that valuable link and internal knowledge to those new and current team managers. We hope this position will help new managers, as well as teams transitioning between managers, with little interruption to the teams.
Each competitive and recreational team should have a team manager. They go out of their way to send out reminders, set up team parties, or organize the snack list. We are taking that role a bit further now as the manager is more involved on the competitive side with such tasks as assisting the coach to keep everyone informed, having player cards ready at the start of the season, collecting money, and coordinating travel. They are an important element to any team, and help keep a team cohesive and organized.
